Private First Class Alvin Pugh was possibly born in Georgia in 1892 or 1893. At the time of the Rebellion he had been in the Army four years. Pugh’s internment records indicated that he was Honorably Discharged on June 4, 1920.

Private First Class Alvin Pugh died on May 6, 1938 and was interred in a National Cemetery.
